Even though its not mental health monday im going to talk about this now because if the things I've been hearing recently. . Recovery is really really hard and takes a hell of a long time. It is different for each person. It has its ups and downs and it certainly doesn't just go straight up. If someone us in recovery and they have a really good up day THAT DOESNT MEAN THEY ARE "FIXED" it simply means they are having an up day. Recovery isn't forcing yourself to try and feel happy everyday. Recovery is taking tiny steps a day in doing something that will improve your quality of living and help battle your illness. You are allowed up and down periods that is part of it. As long as you dont give up feeling more defeated in some days is okay because it wont be forever.
