When you have an anxiety disorder your mind lies to you. Think about it like this. Imagine being in an toxic relationship with a person who lies to you to get you to do the things they want or to stop you from doing things. To have control over you. Mental illness does the same thing. It lies to you so it can be in control of your life. We have to fight back, we have to take back control of our lives from it. We have to say no anxiety you're wrong. This is really really hard (like really really hard) but with support (usually in therapy) you can battle these lies. You can take back control of your life. Anxiety does not need to control you, hour safe and okay without it.
